I’ve always loved to learn new things, and I find it still hard to believe that that’s what I’m actually doing for a living. I always get excited when encountering tech skills that are not yet familiar to me – which still happens a lot, by the way – and I’m constantly seeking new ways to improve my knowledge of the IT field and the way I’m doing recruitment.
In addition to the chance to constantly learn new things and to improve my own performance and recruitment in general, what I most like about working in IT recruitment field is, or actually are, the people.
People is my thing
I’m a huge people person, and I love that as a recruiter I’m able to help people to find their dream jobs and to connect the right talents with the right companies. Especially in the interesting and challenging field of IT, it’s especially rewarding to be able to create added value to both the candidate and the hiring company. For me, it’s important to make real connections with people, and it’s heart-warming to hear for example how someone has enjoyed working in their new role and interesting to follow their career path.
I’ve been working in IT recruitment field for almost three years now. Before starting here at Finders Seekers, I worked in a company specializing in ICT direct search. From there I gained wide and valuable experience from the field of IT recruitments, but it was time to move on to learn more. From my new role at Finders Seekers, I expect lots of new things to learn, people to meet and interesting ventures in the field of IT recruitment.
