Our Sports Product team is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our winning team. The Sports Product team works on bringing focus and mobility to coaching. We provide over 1000 teams with the science-backed confidence to help them reach their health and performance potential. The core team of developers focus on Sports products and consists of three software developers, but we work daily with data analytics, sales, customer support and end-users. The whole software development team in Firstbeat Technologies is around 25 people.  

In a nutshell, as a software developer you get to: 

• be part of the entire product development life cycle from planning to production 
• work very closely with our data scientists, physiologist, sports business and sales 
• hear feedback directly from end-users 
• work with our technology portfolio, which includes server software (Java EE/TypeScript/Lambda), web client (JS/React) and mobile applications (iOS+Android / Qt), and some embedded SW (C++). Some of the tools we use daily include GitHub, CircleCI, Slack, and Confluence.

You can be based in Jyväskylä (preferred; HQ & Sports Product Team site), Espoo (our secondary business site in Finland), or your home – what counts is that you can fluently participate in daily work, and it works for you and us. We will provide you with the tools enabling remote and hybrid work, if needed. 

We use both Finnish and English as work languages. The job does not require regular traveling.
